On March 18, 2020, Governor Gregg Abbott issued an Executive Order relating to COVID-19 and preparedness. On March 20, 2020, Mayor Dee Margo and City Council, and City of El Paso Health Authority, issues an order for mass gatherings in the city and county which became effective immediately.
Since that time, the Stay Home, Work Safe Order has increased. Please commit to following the order to stay safe during this time. More information may be found on the city’s website at elpasotexas.gov.
We understand that we walk by faith and serve within the community as a faith-based organization; however, we believe God gives us free-will to follow his commandments. We must use wisdom to follow authority figures governing our communities and nation during this time.
As pastors, we will comply with the authoritative instructions presented to our community by our mayor and city council, health department officials, and our governor.
In the meantime, all activities relating to TFM classes and services are postponed from being held in public; however, we will continue to share the Word of God via our online portal at facebook.com/transformingfaith.
